26# There are super-foods that can help in acne: NOT TRUE
There are numerous claims that certain “superfoods” like green tea or seafood can improve acne.
There is no conclusive evidence that super foods, zinc, vitamins A, C or E prevent acne.

So here are some steps you can take to prevent acne
STEP 1: call your doctor and get help. it is always good to get treated in early stages of acne to prevent latter complications like scars. The sooner the treatment the better the results.
STEP 2: if you squeeze or pop your zits! you are spreading the infection to other regions of the normal skin , making the problem much worse than before.
STEP 3: Avoid aggressive scrubbing of your face. Use mild, non-comedogenic cleansers and products/make-ups. Aggressive scrubbing can cause acne worsen.
STEP 4: Pat your skin dry before applying prescribed topical agents, like creams, lotions, or gels. Apply only a PEA-SIZED amount for the entire face. too much can irritate the skin and can even worsen the problem by attracting the dust and dirt. Let the solution get absorbed into skin.
STEP 5: Be consistent with your planned treatment. Go to a dermatologist for early diagnosis and treatment, if conservative fails.
